Simon works with clients looking to build strength, improve movement and regain confidence following injury, surgery or periods of inactivity. His approach focuses on helping people move from being “cleared to exercise” to feeling capable, consistent and in control of their movement again.
Simon has a particular interest in supporting those who may feel unsure about returning to exercise, providing structured, progressive sessions that are tailored to the individual and delivered in a safe and supportive environment. He works closely with the physiotherapy team to ensure programmes complement treatment plans and support long-term outcomes.
Simon holds a Level 3 Personal Training qualification, a Level 4 qualification in the management of low back pain, and a Diploma in Sports Psychology. His approach combines physical training with an understanding of the psychological factors that influence confidence, motivation and long-term adherence.
Outside of work, Simon is an experienced runner, having completed seven marathons, and enjoys walking his two cocker spaniels with his wife.
